OK- I need to ask you all to stop messaging me now, even if you didn't get the link. Something is clearly off for so many folks to still be without it.

I've communicated the issue to BackerKit, and we will need to see what the issue is. Right now though, there is no way I can respond to each of you, so let's hold off and find out if it just takes half a day for BackerKit's server to send out all the messages (they are tied to their internal database) or if something else happened.

Here is the latest on the progress of C20 and related projects:

First Draft (The first phase of a project that is about the work being done by writers, not dev prep)

• C20 Novel (Jackie Cassada) (Changeling: the Dreaming 20th Anniversary Edition)

Redlines (The phase where the developer notes the first draft with changes and tweaks to the writing)

• Kithbook Boggans (Changeling: the Dreaming 20th Anniversary Edition)

Second Draft

• C20 Jumpstart (Changeling: the Dreaming 20th Anniversary Edition

Development (post writing)

• Book of Freeholds (Changeling: the Dreaming 20th Anniversary Edition)

Editing

• C20 Anthology (Changeling: the Dreaming 20th Anniversary Edition)

Layout

• C20 – First layout proof. Being proofed by developer Matt McFarland and returned to Aileen to input changes. This is a back and forth process. Once all proofing is done, and we're all happy with the PDF, we'll be sending it to the new White Wolf Publishing for approval. We're up to a little over 450 pages, and still need sections like the Index and backer names put in...

What is this game?

Prince's Gambit is a casual card game where each player is a vampire called to the court of the vampiric Prince of the city. Players must cooperate to gain the favor of the Prince while deducing who among them are secretly the traitorous Sabbat infiltrators.

What's cool about it?

Designed by long-time Vampire: the Masquerade tabletop RPG developer Justin Achilli, Prince's Gambit is a fast-paced social deduction game set within the world of Vampire, but which requires no special knowledge to play. Neophytes and experienced fans of Vampire both can jump right in.

Why Kickstarter?

While Onyx Path Publishing has done and paid for all the work to create the PDF and the Print on Demand physical versions, we're hoping that Kickstarter pledges will enable us to have a traditionally printed version manufactured. Then, we're hoping that we'll be able to add additional cards and illustrations to the deck by way of Stretch Goals, to really make the game shine!

Right now we are funded and moving through Stretch Goals that add more art and the Independent Clans to the card set! It's not Changeling, but it's pretty cool nonetheless!

As I explained last time, "artist shenanigans" is actually a pretty basic situation when Art Directing a book the size of C20 and is just art direction shorthand for the back and forth with artists getting assigned to a book and getting their sketches and finals in. Thanks to all of you who suggested and sent links for possible artists to help out!

So now, once the art does all come in, the book is off to layout to combine the art and the text!
